The first thing to know is what got you to where you currently are won’t get you to where you want to be. I’m sure you’ve heard this before.

What’s missing though, is what was and probably still is driving you. What drove you to achieve the other goals?

Were you being driven by a sense of unworthiness, and achieving the goals gave you a sense of self worth?

Were you being driven by the need to prove something to someone?

Did someone tell you that you couldn’t achieve the goal or you didn’t have what it takes to achieve the goal.

Take some time and look into this. Meditate on it and journal about it.

What is actually needed to get to the next level?

That’s the burning question.

Finding out what was driving you is the first step. Once you know that, you can take some steps to move forward.

So let’s say that you were being driven by the need to prove your self worth. That’s only going to take you so far.

In order to get to the next level, you need to know your self worth and operate from there. You must take your actions from a place of already being worthy, not hoping that achieving the goal will make you worthy.

A great place to start with this is to take care of yourself and show you that you are important. Take the time to actually listen to yourself and value yourself, and then you can properly set yourself up for success.
